Break the News Cycle

To control the news cycles you lead the week with good news and end it with bad.

The Friday news dump is a time-honored tradition in media.

While most of the country is making dinner reservations for Mother’s Day, checking tee times for Saturday morning or making family plans for the weekend, government officials release news they’d rather brush under the rug, knowing that in 48 hours when Monday comes back around the headlines of the previous week will be ancient history.

Friday we witnessed this with the “unexpected” release of information that the IRS willfully targeted conservative groups and held up applications and conducted more intrusive questioning.

Make no mistake there is more to this story. Their objective is to have this swept under the rug by Monday morning. They are trying to control the flow of information and setting the rules for this game.

WE CAN BREAK THOSE RULES!!!!
