Update - Kentucky 9/12 v IRS 3-6

We are standing strong against the IRS and WE ARE NOT ALONE.

I want to first thank everyone for support and standing united. Next I would like to stress while this is a clear and apparent premeditated attack on our group and other liberty groups like us, this is much more. This is less about the Tea Party and 9/12 Groups it is more about individual liberties. This is in defense of you, this is standing for all groups no matter their political affiliation, and protecting citizens rights. At the core government is using its power to silence our voice!

We are greatly concerned about the use of a governmental agency to try to intimidate free speech and their overreach into personal lives. Information demands from the IRS, demands that seriously implicate citizens First Amendment rights. We must stand strong for us and for the right to freedom and protection of liberties.

What can you do….

This fight will be waged on multiple fronts. This fight will only be won by people helping and willing to wage this war.

The ACLJ will be litigating this issue as far as it needs to go including if necessary the Supreme Court. The ACLJ has been working for nearly 25 years to protect the constitutional rights of Americans and extensive experience in this area of the law.

We need to fight this at the congressional level as well. We are demanding that the House of Representatives conduct oversight hearings, investigating these intrusive, and to some threatening IRS tactics, which violate the First Amendment rights of Americans. Add your name to our petition to the Speaker of the House and Congressional oversight officials now, calling on Congress to provide IRS oversight. (This will not be sent to the IRS.) Finally we can not let people stop pressuring congress or lose sight of what is going on. Keep attention on this and continue to help us spread the word.
