Lets Give Ben Chandler a Hand
There is one more thing we have to do before Ben goes back to Washington!!
I know we have been hard on our congressmen from the 6th district, and I know he rightfully deserved it. Don’t worry we are not getting soft nor am I saying he is excused from ignoring the people that sent him to Washington in the first place. But in the next week we need to give Ben Chandler a hand.
It is critical that we must get our message to Chandler that the people he works for does not want any form of government run healthcare. It is imperative now that we put tricks, gimmicks, protest, and shouting aside this 1 week and deliver a clear more personal message.
The single best way we all can make a difference and accomplish this is with a personal letter. The impact of hundreds of personally written letters opposing healthcare reform will speak volumes. This will not be the form letter campaign, it will not send the tone of an organized astroturf operation, and it will not give the impressive of an uncivil mob (even though we know we are anything but). No, this will truly demonstrate the will of the people (YOU).
So let us give Ben Chandler a BIG hand. Please over this last week of the Congressional recesses take a little time and write a hand written letter to Ben Chandler expressing respectfully and poignantly your personal opposition to Government healthcare. If you are able next please try to hand deliver this letter to his office. We have quit successfully got our point across over the last month and while the other side tries to pick up our tactics we want to leave Ben with the truth of a civil, educated, and informed constituent that does not want a public option healthcare. Remember, PERSONAL, RESPECTFUL, TO THE POINT. Please take the time over the next week to do this last thing to help stop this healthcare bill. We can make a difference and though we want him to fear this, for the next week it is much more important he hears us.
