National Lemonade Stand and Bake Day!

Just a couple of weeks ago we asked you to do more than make lemonade out of lemons; we ask you to sell it as well. Glenn Beck inspired a day of lemonade stands and bake sells.
What: National Lemonade Stand and Bake Day!
When: June 13th, 2012
Where: Find a location near you OR HAVE AND START YOUR OWN
What: do you do? Have your kids do a lemonade stand! Have a bake sale! Then Share your stories with us!

You are answering that call:
Georgetown, Lexington, La Grange, Owensboro, Lewisport, Danville, are just the ones we have heard about. Start your own and let us know about it. Send us your pictures, tell us your story.

“We are building our Lemonade stand; I am probably more excited than or at least as excited as my grandson! We are hoping to have it up and running before June 13th. Originally my idea was to do something that I could share with my grandson, Paul, and help him learn about making change, counting coins, seeing new people, then giving our proceeds to a place that does research on an illness that my younger grandson has (his little brother). _____ is actually doing very well and is being well managed; his mom is great and takes good care of him. Didn't think of the bake sale part, but now we can add that to it! Will update!”


We are losing a generation with that self reliant entrepreneur and charitable spirit. Let’s make a point and make a stand and doing take part in this one day event.
