Lemonade For Sale!

Kids on a summer day make up a pitcher of lemonade and set up a table with a small homemade sign. These stands are the basic and most innocent form of capitalism. I can make something on a hot day that somebody else wants and needs and I can make money doing it. Lemonade stands have always been the foundation of the entrepreneur sprit.

Yesterday inspired by Glenn the national came together for the national lemonade stand and bake sale day — an event that celebrated entrepreneurship and the spirit of American giving all at the same time. Not surprising Kentucky was part of it.

Thanks for everyone that was part of this; special congratulations and thanks to the great group in La Grange, KY. Check out this video up on the "The Blaze" today and you will see a pic from their Lemonade Stand yesterday. It is the header picture of the video clip and also seen in the video clip at about 7 minutes and 30 seconds. All the proceeds from their stand are being given to "Mercury One". Thanks again to them and everyone else around the state who participated.
