What do you do? Have your kids do a lemonade stand! Have a bake sale! Then Share your stories with us!

What are we doing? GBTV & “The Glenn Beck Program” is encouraging a national day of local bake sales and Lemonade stands to make a statement about the overreaction and the attack on the simpler things and common sense.

Think back to when you were a kid and you can probably remember trying to run a lemonade stand. You learned a lot of things – most importantly that too much sugar can ruin your drink and that most people aren’t going to want to buy lemonade from a kid on the side of a street. But you also learned about the importance of earning money for an honest day’s work. You learned about setting up your own small business. You learned about success and failure. You learned about entrepreneurship.

But not any longer.

Lemonade stands, bake sales, feeding the homeless and even hugs are all being regulated into oblivion. These icons of Americana are quickly becoming a thing of the past. Well, Glenn is getting tired of watching it happen – and he is inviting you to join him in standing up against big government trying to fundamentally transform the character of this country.
