9/12 Project Book Clubs

If we are wanting to create leaders in ourselves, our marriages, our families, our communities, which will lead to developing statesmen, we must not only read to learn, but also read to empower, educate, and enlighten. We all need to practice what we preach and just reading a book isn’t good enough anymore. We need to practice speaking about what we’re reading and then learn how to discuss, disagree, prove our point, be proven wrong and still stay joyful. You, me, our next-door neighbors, our friends, all play a part in our goal of restoring America back to the Principles and Values. Therefore, we need to create ‘safe’ zones of learning, questioning and debating. That ‘safe zone’ can be a local book club.

A local book club can be a wonderful way to get together with others you know or are in your area and a chance to share with like minded individuals. Understanding we all may need that little push (call it accountability) and direction and encouragement from time to time. These are just some of the benefits that are produced in your own personal local book club. Most of all beginning, or participating in a book club; you will make a difference to your family, your neighborhood, to say nothing about the difference you will make to your country.

But only if you set into play this idea and take that first step of personal responsibility and start your own personal local book club. If it is going to happen in your community it is up to you. Start doing as our Founding Fathers did- discuss, verbalize, share ideas about principles and values.

We have many resources available for you to start and run your own Liberty Book Club
