- Not surprisingly it is a means for people to get together to discuss books. Much more it is a way to bring people together to discover you are not alone and take a journey of personal discovery and education as a group
Who can join or come?
- Anyone interested in sharing the experience and willing to participate.
What is the general size?
- Anywhere from 6 – 14 people but you may start with as few as 4 people. Over 20 may be difficult to properly facilitate.
Where should we hold a meeting?
- Some of these groups begin in living rooms and around kitchen tables but can just as easily take place at a local Library, coffee shop, restaurant, or church.
How long do meetings last?
- 60 to 90 minutes
How often should we meet?
- It can be weekly or bi-weekly or at minimum once a month. Just try to make it the constant time people may plan around.
Who runs a book club?
- You should have a person or couple of people step up to organize and facilitate the group but each meeting may be moderated by a different person and rotate the responsibility.
What book should we start with?
- A great starting place is “The 5000 Year Leap.” It is not political; rather it focuses on PRINCIPLES OF GOVERNMENT – the 28 principles our Founding Fathers used to create our great country. If you purchase 10 or more “5000 Year Leaps” from NCCS.net, they are only $5/book!
