Kentucky Saves Christmas

Recently the Governor of Kentucky dubbed the State's traditional Christmas tree a "holiday" tree to be, as he says, "inclusive". The Governor said "What is important is to remember what this time of year is all about... ". Pastor Fugate of Lexington Kentucky invited everyone to - Christmas Caroling at the Capitol! This event was to remind the Governor what Christmas is truly all about!

On Dec 8th in Frankfort Kentucky over 1,000 people gathered together in a peaceful protest in song. 9/12ers joined tea partiers, Family Foundation members, and fed up concerned citizens to meet on the steps of our Capitol on a cold rainy evening to sing Christmas Carols together.

As a result of the efforts of these 1,000+ carolers, and thousands more that made phone calls to the Governor and sent him Christmas cards, Governor Beshear reversed his previous statement and Kentucky once again officially has a CHRISTMAS TREE!!!! Thanks to the people, Kentucky has saved Christmas. And with our voices have sent a shock wave across the nation that we the people want less government, less taxes, no overreaching policies, AND STOP BEING POLITICALLY CORRECT AND STAY OUT OF CHRISTMAS.

Merry Christmas,
KY9/12
