Blood Drive for Charity-- Lexington, Ky

Hello all!!

I have a great opportunity to give back to the Lexington community! Most of you are aware that I am trying to raise money for The Lighthouse Ministries (www.thelighthouseministries.org). It is a Christian half-way house in downtown Lexington that helps addicts, homeless, and ex-convicts.

The Lighthouse is currently in a contest for the Blood Center. They are in 4th place as of right now. If they get 1st place, The Lighthouse Ministries will receive a $3500 monetary donation! I know during these times, it is hard for people to donate money, even to a good cause. So here is your chance to donate something we have all have plenty of- Blood! We need as many people possible to donate blood to get the Lighthouse to win this contest. PLUS, when you give blood you are automatically placed into a contest to win a new car! PLUS, giving blood is a wonderful cause all around.

You may donate at the Blood Center (www.kybloodcenter.org) or you can go to the Lighthouse this Sunday afternoon. They will have a mobile blood center set up there!Check out their website above for directions. This Sunday is the last day to donate.
