Dear Congressman,
We have been long aware that President Obama’s health insurance plans will force rationing because of a need for additional doctors and the so-called ‘death panels” which will in fact decide who lives and dies. Now America’s Health insurance plans tells us that household plans will go up by almost $2,000.00. Other estimates have that even higher. And that’s only the beginning.
This whole thing is a disaster, unworkable, and smacks of the big government takeover one would expect from someone of Barack Obama’s background (whatever, exactly, that background is).
This is all simple: we don’t want it. If you vote for it, then we don’t want you. Ever. All of us. You need to get out of DC and back to some town hall meetings where we can give you an earful.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman,
First the stimulus plan that hasn’t done anything but triple the deficit and leave us vulnerable to our debts to China. Then, the health care plan that no one gets to read.
Now on top of everything else we find out that supposed “improvement” in American healthcare will cost us an extra $1,700.00 on average while forcing rationing at the same time.
This is a very poor excuse for leadership. If voting for something a child could understand is bad, then all I can say is I hope you enjoy life in the public sector. 80% of Americans don’t want this rushed plan. That means they won’t want you, again.
If you do this I will actively do everything in my power to see to it that you never get on the public dole again.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman,
I’ll get straight to the point. Even the health insurance companies now think this plan is a nightmare. Polls show nobody wants it. We’re not stupid. I’m not stupid.
I suggest you come back here to your district again for an extended vacation, so we can hold some more town hall meetings again with you as the guest speaker. It seems to me that you didn’t get our message the first time.
We don’t want it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman,
I hope you have the common sense not to vote for Obama’s horrible health care plan that even the insurance business doesn’t like.
I wonder: If you had a congressman who voted in defiance of your desires when you were in the vast majority, would you think he was involved in doing your business, or something else?
Vote NO on Obamacare. We will assume that a "yes" vote for it is your resignation from office. Rely on it. We’re not stupid.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman,
You were elected to do the will of the people, not to balance the President’s agenda against your own political future. Poll numbers continue to be overwhelmingly against President Obama’s health care initiatives (and for good reason) tp the point that the poll numbers seriously cut heavily into the democratic electoral base.
We don’t want it. Period. We know how to separate media spin from reality.
I’m writing to tell you that I want you – as Gingrich did over mere taxes to his political benefit - to shut down congress in demonstration and to make it impossible to vote on the health care bill the people overwhelmingly have permanently decided against.
Failure will result in your being forced from office and then you take the same health care nightmare you are prepared to serve to the people.
Shut down congress. There are many thousands calling for it. By the end of the week it will be millions. We mean this.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman,
We, the American people, in a rare demonstration of solid bi-partisanship, have decided against proceeding with any health care initiatives given the radical tendencies of the Speaker and the President. Polls overwhelmingly are instructing you as to your duty.
As Gingrich did in the 1990’s, so too, today, do you have a publicly-mandated obligation to SHUT DOWN CONGRESS so as to disallow a vote on health care which will only bring pain and heartache for generations in the same way inexperienced President Obama’s disastrous "stimulus plan” has burdened generations to come with the lower quality of life imposed on them by enormous unnecessary debt.
You may rely on it that 2010 is a VERY short time away, and supporting Obama’s elitist, radical agenda may likely find you sweeping streets while on the same mandated health care the rest of us will be forced to endure.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman,
We the people do not want Obama’s health care as long as he and Speaker Pelosi are in office. Their radicalism makes them untrustworthy. Their determination to pass health care which will result in rationing and death – despite all polls being against it - is unsettling and entirely unacceptable.
As Newt Gingrich did in the 1990’s, we demand that you SHUT DOWN CONGRESS to ensure that health care as envisioned by Obama and Pelosi do not become a reality.
Don’t be blind to your own mortality. When you have been forced from office over this nightmare for failing to act, you’ll be on the same health care we will.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman,
Shut down Congress over the health care nightmare. Newt Gingrich did it in the 1990’s over something far less important, and that was taxes.
Generally, 75% of all polled Americans are against it, and 85% are against rushing the measure through. That’s 85% voting you out of office when the time comes.
Shut down congress or look for a new job. Don’t live in a dream world. You’ll be forced to wait years for important surgery once we have voted you out of office because there will be no United States health care system for you to flee to, and you simply won’t be able to buy your own no matter how wealthy you are.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman,
I’m outraged that you would even consider voting on Obama health care when the vast majority of Americans, as every poll shows, angrily oppose it.
You don’t listen to polls. You don’t listen to us at town hall meetings. You don’t listen to our written voices. You don’t get it. You are in our house, not the other way around.
If you don’t shut down congress the way Newt Gingrich did in the 1990’s when he DID listen to to the people (and I’m no Gingrich fan), your political future is likely at an end. I shall remember you come election time, congressman. We all will. Many millions of us, as we wait for years for critical surgery which is needed in days because you ruined a good thing: the American health care system.
One way or another there’s a revolution brewing, congressman. You can be one of the good guys or one of the bad guys. Your time is up:
Decide.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman,
All polls show Americans are against health care, which everyone now knows will result in rationing and death. No media spin will convince us otherwise. We have educated ourselves in spite of your speeches and your selective hearing when it comes to our angry voices.
You and your political brethren will hear from us and more on 2010.
Newt Gingrich shut down congress over a simple tax hike and was a hero. You can be a hero to more millions than not by doing likewise. Those who vote for health care will be despised even by their own base constituents as every poll shows. Is Obama so powerful, so threatening, that you cannot even see right from wrong, anymore?
Shut down congress now, congressman. Make Obama come to you, instead of the other way around
