Ongoing Actions:

Lay a Foundation: The first steps for many of us is education and enlightenment on the principles and heritage of this great nation. The best way to long lasting liberties will be a foundation and understanding of where we came from and what the founding fathers intended for our republic. Transfer of knowledge can only occur if you take the first steps in grounding yourself and providing a foundation.

Start Blogging and getting the message out: Even more important than those in office to our Republic is We The People. Unfortunately you sometimes feel out numbered and powerless as an individual, but I am telling you there are far more of us than them, “we surround them”, and individuals can make a profound difference.

Consider Running for local office: One of the greatest features of our Republic is the opportunity for men and women to serve their nation in elective office. Every elected official, from the Board of Education to the President of the United States, plays a vital role in shaping the policies and direction of our communities, and ultimately our nation. Many local offices maybe even in your county went unopposed.
KY9/12 Candidate Training

Get to know those that work for you: You may think that our elected officials are not listening to us and act contrary to what we want, but I can ensure you they hear us and they do pay attention. They love their job and when the people who control their job begin to overwhelm them with what they want, they take notice. Take time to get to know and build relationships with elected officials. More importantly get to know those that want to represent you as well. Go to candidate forums, vet the ones that are running for office, and make an educated vote based on principle not emotion or what the party says you need to do.
