Saying Goodbye to Meetup

ATTENTION: (unlike our government) we have a fiscal responsibility at KY9/12 to the Financial donations we receive. The contract for out meetup site ends in Feb of this year and we will NOT be renewing this forum. With the success and redundancies in our other sites and exposure on social networks – this forum no longer justifies the high expenses attached to it.


We would like to inform our membership that we will no longer be using one of our current member site known on meetup (www.meetup.com/kentucky912/) effective February 12, 2013.

THIS WILL NOT EFFECT THIS WEBSITE AND THE KY9/12 PROJECT ONLY THE MEETUP SITE
Please know that this decision was not made lightly and we considered all feelings and consequences in our decision making process. Traffic has drastically reduced on this forum and the majority of our membership frequent our main website (www.ky912.com) and we have over 3000 that have signed up for regular emails and email updates. In addition the facts are with our profiles on Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and FreedomConnector – Meetup has become redundant and less focused part of our communication.

Thank you again for making Kentucky 9/12 Project – We Surround Them the success it has been for the last four years. This is definitely not the end, but a whole new beginning for our organization. We hope you will continue the journey with us.
