Charity and VLS
Vacation Liberty School allows children to experience the origin, nature and benefits of liberty based on Faith, Hope and Charity
For Charity the KY912 project will be working with VLS to assist in supporting one of our favorite organizations; Operation Home Front. Next week during one of the evenings of Vacation Liberty School the children will be learning this virtue of charity while supporting our troops protecting Liberty.
The children have planned to organize packages for soldiers and they need your help. Please consider a gift of any of the following items to help fill the packages.
Magazines, Gallon bags, Ramen noodles, Travel size shampoos, Rags for cleaning weapons, Lotions, Silly string for trip wire, Soap, body wash, Wet wipes unscented, Underwear for both men and women, Socks for both men and women, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Trail mix, Q-tips, Sunscreen, Chap Stick, Bottle water, Deck of cards, Razor, shaving cream, Rubber bands for hair
KY chapter of Operation Home Front an organization that provides emergency assistance and morale to our troops, to the families they leave behind and to wounded warriors when they return home.

I find it interesting that this organization overlays religious beliefs on our founding fathers that most of them did not hold. From the initiators of our revolutions such as Thomas Paine and Sam Adams to the authors of our Declaration and Constitution such as Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. These men were Deists and did NOT hold the same views you purport them to have held. You are changing history for your own satisfaction. Shame on you. Perhaps you should educate yourselves - take the time to travel to Monticello or Montpelier and read the writings of these great men. Nothing wrong with civics, in fact its a good thing. But when you rearrange history to suit your own story you are creating the world that George Orwell warned us about.
