"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” -- Tenth Amendment, U.S. Constitution
Kentucky Knows Best!!
This state was founded on the frontiersmen spirit and independent heart. Why is it alright now to give up our rights and our authority to Politian’s in Washington that we did not elect and do not represent us. We must stand again, as we did in 1798, and send a statement to our federal government that this State has rights and we know what is best for us. We have a history of standing up for our sovereignty, we have a pride in fighting for our rights, and we have a duty to the next generation and everyone in this Commonwealth to protect our rights and be part of this growing movement to re-affirm are civil liberties stated in our States constitution and enumerated in the Tenth Amendment of the United States Constitution.

A Personal Message to Frankfort

From the socialist led by Nancy Pelosi
Read the Constitution it clearly states
The 10th Amendment where power delegates
The constitution doesn’t say the Feds can
The state governs the people and their land
Let me translate to those who have gone insane
Exactly what is the constitutions aim
Prevent our republic from power and greed
Misuse of resources and exaggerated need
Assure pursuit of life, liberty and happiness to all the same
Federal Government take notice today
Kentuckians have the only say
By Abigail Billings:
State Sovereignty
____________________________________
Before there were ever a federal government there were sovereign individual states. Our Constitution was comprised of these states coming together and merely providing a contract between those states for their common good. This was highlighted and articulated in our own State constitution as well as spelled out federally in the 10th amendment of the United States Constitution. It is my assertion that not only we the people need reminded of these facts but our elected officials need constant reminding as well. We need to jog the memories of our representatives that we are in fact a sovereign state. We need to stand up for the 10th amendment of the United States that affirms this and protects us against the oppression and intrusion of bad policies from the federal government. Our state needs to be once again our first line of defense against unfunded mandates and unconstitutional policies and we need to put the over reaching federal government on notice to leave us alone.
Although such resolutions by themselves would not solve the problem of a federal government which dominates and bankrupts the states by ignoring the Constitution's provisions, these Tenth Amendment resolutions can serve as steppingstones to further state and federal legislation to restore the proper balance of power between the states and the federal government. In addition they send a clear message that between Washington and the great people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky; Kentucky Knows Best!!!

We need to make sure the 2010 State Sovereignty bill is as strongly worded as it can be and still pass the state legislature. We don't need a "feel good" resolution with no teeth and no accountability. We need a law with legal remedies if violated, that can be enforced to protect and defend our state sovereignty. Let's work with Stan to get a strong State Sovereignty bill, and then get it passed into law!
It's past time for Kentuckians to stand up on our hind legs and stop tolerating all of the toxic socialism that oozes out of DC. We can take back our country... one state at a time.

To whom it may concern,
Re: Healthcare Bill; How to stop it now?
There is a way to stop the Healthcare Bill now. Here is the answer.
The Judicial Branch is an equal Branch of the government. The court’s right is to review and advise during the process of the legislation. The court must act on the legality according to the Constitution. Since the Judicial Department fails to act during the process of legislation, they have the right to stop bills and send them back to Congress for corrections.
If Congress and the President decide to enact the bill as written, after the court’s ruling, Congress and the President must send it to the states for a vote. The states can over rule the Judicial Department by two-thirds (2/3) majority. Then the bill will become law.
All the framers and forefathers of the United States, in the explanation of the Constitution, warns of two branches gaining too much power. The logic of deliberating the law after it is enacted and in place for years is not only unconstitutional but also reckless. The citizens are at risk of losing their freedoms when the system brakes down.
One explanation to the Judicial Department’s absence in the federal process is, it remains deliberating on state and citizen’s laws while the Congressional and Presidential Departments progresses to a more active roll over states’ rights.
Please let everyone you know to act now. Write, call, and protest to force the Judicial Department to follow the Constitution. They must honor their responsibilities to the United States’ Citizens and their freedoms.
Faithfully yours,
James K. Keith
